World Cup Starts Today!

The 2010 World Cup started today with South Africa hosting the 1st game against Mexico. We’re all cheering the team on and after some great saves by Khune and a stunning strike by our number 8 Siphiwe Tshabalala means that after 60 min Bafana Bafana leads 1-0. Let’s hope they keep their lead and win their first match!

Mr Sebolela Visits England

Mr Sebolela came to visit our 2 link schools, Baverstock Secondary and Specialist Sports Collage who provide us with fabulous sports links, and Tithe Barn Primary School who have been linked with us for a long time and continue to keep in touch and allow us to share ideas with each other.

They have also said that they are going to fix our computers soon and get the internet working again!

The children in Year 3 in Tithe Barn have been working to produce profiles to share with you via e-mail, but unfortunately can’t send them at the moment. We know that you still don’t have your e-mail, or internet, but when you do our partnership will become so much stronger. Keep smiling and don’t give up!

Mr Sebolela sets the standard!

There was delight all around when our headteacher, Mr Sebolela was named the winner of the Excellence in Primary School Leadership award at the eighth annual National Teachers Awards ceremony at the Presidential Guest House in Pretoria.

Keep your eyes peeled for more news about the award and how it will push the school forward even futher.

After Mr Jones’ visit to Khensani he decided to chase up why they didn’t have any internet connection. After sending e-mails to several people he recieved one explaining the problems faced by Gauteng and that they are working their hardest to solve the issue. We all hope that Mr MaLlele PeTje and his team can solve the problems faced as soon as possible and that the Educators in Khensani can continue to progress in their IT training.

Empowering educators at Northridge

Six educators from Khensani school namely: Moses, Phoffa, Nancy, Germa, Freddah and Dumi learnt how to upload and download photos from the internet with Peter at Northridge Primary School. We had fun while learning and we are going to impart these knowledge to other educators for the benefit of Khensani’s learners and the community at large.
